Do I need to get a residence permit after my work permit is issued?

It replaces a residence permit as long as the work permit or work permit exemption issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security is valid. The date the work permit expires is also the end date of the residence right. Foreigners who do not extend their work permit even though it has expired or who do not obtain a residence permit appropriate to their new situation are deemed to have violated their residence permit. However, work permits issued to foreigners with International Protection Applicants, Conditional Refugees and Temporary Protection status do not replace residence permits.
