I am in Turkey as a student. Where do I apply for a work permit?

Foreign students enrolled in formal education programs at a higher education institution in Turkey can work provided that they obtain a work permit. Foreign students studying at associate and undergraduate levels can apply for a work permit after completing the first year of their education and can work part-time in accordance with the Labor Law No. 4857 dated 22/05/2003. These restrictions do not apply to graduate students enrolled in formal education programs. Work permits issued to foreign students do not terminate the valid student residence permit and the rights provided by this residence permit. Work permit applications are made through the e-Permit system.
