How to Apply for Türkiye Family Visa Procedures?

For a Türkiye Family visa, a foreign citizen must personally apply to the Turkish Foreign Representative in the region where he/she resides. Documents are requested from the foreign national who applies for the visa type in question by the Turkish foreign delegation. Relevant documents are listed below.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months (The passport must not be tampered with in any way. Worn, torn or obsolete passports are not accepted by Turkish foreign missions.)
• Biometric photo (The background of the photo must be white and the photo must be taken within the last 6 months.)
• Visa application form
• If applying for a spouse, family certificate or marriage certificate
• If applying for a child, a birth certificate or a copy of the population registration certificate.
The documents mentioned above must be submitted to the Turkish foreign representative office. The documents submitted must be error-free and complete. If any missing documents are submitted or incorrect documents are submitted, the visa application may result negatively. For this reason, it is useful to check the prepared documents carefully. Documents must also be submitted in their original form. If it is detected that the document has been manipulated or falsified, your visa application will be canceled and legal action will be taken against you. You must be at the Turkish consulate on the appointment day and time. If you do not attend the appointment or are late for any reason, your application may be cancelled. Compliance with the appointment time will be in the interest of the foreign national who will apply for a visa. After the interview with the consular officials, the Turkish family visa result will be announced by the authorities.
Things to Consider in Türkiye Family Reunion Visa Procedures
For a visa application for a Turkish family reunification visa, the foreign national who is in Turkey as a supporter must be a legal resident in the country. The spouse and children of a foreign citizen who does not legally reside (illegal) do not have the opportunity to apply for a visa for family reunification.
The documents requested by the Turkish foreign delegation and to be obtained from the official authorities must also be approved by official authority seals or stamps. Unapproved documents are not accepted by the Turkish foreign mission.
Documents approved by the official authority should not be falsified. If it is understood that the official document has been tampered with or falsified, the visa application is canceled and legal action is taken against the person.
Documents requested by Turkish foreign missions must be submitted in full. If there are missing documents, visa applications may be rejected.
A separate file must be prepared for children within the scope of Türkiye family reunification visa procedures.
Once the family reunification visa is approved, it is necessary to apply for a family residence permit after entering Turkey. If a residence permit application is not made, you must exit Turkey at the end of your visa stay. If the person does not exit the country, he or she will be in violation of the visa. If a foreign national who violates his/her visa is detected, he/she is deported from Turkey and the person is banned from entering Turkey. Likewise, a fine is imposed for the duration of the violation.
