There are certain characteristics sought in a company that wants to employ foreign personnel. Only after these are met can an application for a foreign employee be made.
• Having 5 Turkish employees
• Having a paid-in capital of 100.00TL.
These two items above are the first conditions to be sought in the work permit application. The paid-in capital of the workplace must be at least 100,000 TL, or its gross sales must be at least 800,000 TL, or the last year's export amount must be at least 250,000 USD. Here, the intention and purpose of 5 Turkish employees are; For every foreign personnel to be employed, there must be 5 Turkish employees in that company. For example, if you are going to employ 2 foreign personnel, then you must employ 10 Turkish personnel. This is the first condition for employing foreign personnel. In addition, you are expected to have a paid-in capital of 100.00 TL.

I just founded my company; I haven't hired any staff yet. Can't I employ foreign personnel?
In companies that have just been put into service, there is no requirement for 5 Turkish employees in the first 6-month plan. If you apply for a work permit as soon as you open your company, a work permit can be granted by taking a commitment that you will employ 5 Turkish personnel in the first 6-month plan. This work permit will be given for your first 6 months, and when you apply for a work permit extension in the second 6-month plan, if you do not meet the expected conditions, then your extension application will be rejected and rejected. This is an important detail for your application. Although newly established companies are given time for incentive and employment purposes, if you do not meet the conditions in the next 6 months, your extension applications will be cancelled.

Can I work as a caregiver in Turkey?

• Elderly over 65 years of age

What are the conditions for applying for a Türkiye work permit for teachers?
The adequacy of the training received by people who want to work as foreign teachers in Turkey in order to teach here needs to be examined. For this purpose, an application for equivalence will be made and it will be questioned whether it is equivalent or not. A person who wants to work as a teacher must apply to the Ministry of National Education in the district where he/she has a school affiliation; If compliance is found, preliminary approval will be given by the governor's office. However, after this preliminary approval, teachers can apply for a work permit.

Türkiye Work Permit Types
Term work permit: It is a type of permission given for the purpose of working in a specified job. If it is to be continued through the same employer, if approval is received in the first application, it is usually for 1 year; For extension applications, a 2 or 3-year permit may be granted.
Indefinite work permit: This is the category applied by people who have resided in Turkey for 8 years continuously and have obtained a long-term residence permit or have a work permit for at least 6 years continuously.
Independent work permit: It is a type of independent work permit given to people who work professionally in a field, under the conditions specified in the law.
Turquoise card: It can be given to the scientist category, foreigners who come as athletes, and foreign nationals who invest. It provides the right to an indefinite work permit, the right to a residence permit and also the right to transition to Turkish citizenship. It also provides indefinite residence rights for the person's spouse and dependent children.

How to apply for a work permit?
Türkiye work permit application is carried out entirely through the online process. The application is made by the employer.
Registration can be created through the system in 3 different ways;
• Employer registration for home services (Registration is created with the employer's TR ID number)
• Self-employed foreigner registration (with foreigner identification number starting with 99)
• New business registration (all companies)

Work Permit Application Types
First domestic application: It is made for foreign nationals who have a residence permit valid for at least 6 months in Turkey. These people are Turkish Republic citizens starting with 99. They have a foreign identification number.
First application abroad: If the foreigner is in his/her own country and does not have a valid residence permit, they can apply for a work permit by going to the embassy or consulate in their country. A 16-digit reference number will be assigned to the application.
International protection application: Came to our country for the purpose of seeking refuge; This is the application made for people who are under international protection and want to get a work permit in Turkey. The foreign national applied in this way has an international protection residence permit.
Temporary protection application: This is the application made for Syrian nationals who are under temporary protection in Turkey. These foreigners have a temporary protection residence permit.
Extension application: It is an application to extend the ongoing work permit. An extension application can be made within 60 days until the permit expires.

What are the mandatory salaries for foreigners to apply for a work permit?
• 6.5 times the minimum wage for senior managers and pilots,
• 4 times the minimum wage for unit or branch managers, engineers and architects,
• At least 3 times the minimum wage for foreigners who will work in jobs requiring special expertise, psychologists, teachers, physiotherapists, musicians and performing artists,
• At least 1.5 times the minimum wage for people who will work in home services, sales-marketing departments, and people who will work in company positions except for the above.
• Foreign nationals who will work as acrobats or similar positions in tourism or organization companies; For people who will work as masseurs, masseuses or SPA therapists, it should be at least 2 times the minimum wage.
