Work permit is the category applied by foreign nationals who want to earn official income in Turkey. This situation is different for people who have a temporary permit, and they must apply for a work permit extension each time their permit expires. Extension applications can be made 60 days before the valid work permit expires. The period must be extended by applying for an extension before the application ends. Otherwise, if you want to apply after the valid permit has expired, the situation becomes quite difficult. First of all, since the work permit also gives the right to a residence permit, at the end of it, the person's legal right to stay has expired and he must return to his country.

This means an average of ninety days of time loss. In order to avoid such problems, work permit durations should be monitored and issued at the right time without delay.

Work permit extension applications are made with electronic signature through the Ministry of Labor's online system, just like the first application. Since a valid employer record was created in the first application, a new record will not be created this time and the same record will be used.
