What are the reasons for rejection of a work permit application?

Rejection of a work permit application occurs due to failure to meet the conditions specified in Article 9 of TUK for foreigners or a procedural error in the application process.
The reasons for rejecting the application are explained in the paragraphs of the relevant article. One or more of these paragraphs are taken as basis when refusing a work permit.
Those concerned may object to the rejection of the application or file a lawsuit for annulment.
What are the reasons for rejection of job applications?
• Not complying with international labor policy,
• Made with false or misleading information and documents,
• The reason for employing foreigners is not considered sufficient,
• For jobs and professions recognized by other laws to Turkish citizens,
• About foreigners who do not have the necessary qualifications and expertise,
• Foreigners notified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be within the scope of Articles 7, 15 and 54 of Law No. 6468, (Includes foreigners declared to be foreigners by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They will not be allowed to enter Turkey, will not be given to us or will be deported),
• About foreigners who are deemed unsafe to work in Turkey due to public order, public security or public health,
• Except for the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for citizens of countries that the Republic of Turkey does not recognize or has no diplomatic relations with,
• Applications that are not made within the legal period or whose deficiencies cannot be detected,
• In accordance with the application methods of international labor law, foreigners working with a work permit exemption within the scope of Öbendi are employed by an employer who does not have the same status in the country,
• If the Hajj and other Paper Fees are not paid within 30 days from the date of notification regarding the payment of the work permit fee and other Paper Fees, the work permit application will be rejected.
• Apart from these, applications will also be rejected if the following situations are detected:
• 6 months have not passed since the international protection application date,
• When the application is completed by submitting the required documents to the Ministry, the validity period of the identity document is less than 30 days,
• A final deportation decision was made in accordance with Law No. 6458.
• If it is determined by the Ministry of Internal Affairs that the applicant and the conditional refugee who are obliged to reside in a certain province have expressed a negative opinion in their applications to obtain a work permit outside the borders of this province, their work permit application, work permit or work permit extension outside the borders of this province will be rejected.
