What are the TOEFL exam types?
TOEFL test types are divided into two: paper-based TOEFL PBT (paper-based test) and internet-based TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) exams. The main difference between the two TOEFL test formats is that when it comes to sections, TOEFL iBT has Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking sections. 1. Internet-based test - TOEFL iBT

A 30-minute writing section that includes a written essay of approximately 250-300 words
 

What is TOEFL iBT?
  The TOEFL iBT test is offered in 3 different ways to find the TOEFL test option that best suits your needs and preferences: at a testing center, at home, or on paper.
TOEFL iBT: It is administered in a computerized environment at more than 3,000 authorized test centers worldwide. It is presented more than 60 times a year.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition: The same TOEFL iBT test you would take at a testing center, but viewed online by a proctor in your own home environment. You can take the exam 24 hours a day, 4 days a week, and 24 hours after TOEFL registration. Available worldwide.
TOEFL iBT Paper Edition: It is the two-session version of the TOEFL iBT exam. Accordingly, the reading, listening and writing sections are done on paper in an exam center, while the speaking section is done on the computer at home. What is the TOEFL exam structure?
Reading: Evaluates your ability to understand and analyze written texts on topics such as science and academic discussions. In the TOEFL reading section, participants are given 3 or 4 academic texts and are asked to answer questions based on these texts. The number of TOEFL questions in this section can vary between 36 and 56, therefore the time given to the participant in the reading section varies between 60 and 80 minutes.
Listening: It may vary in terms of the number of questions and duration. In the TOEFL listening section, participants are asked between 34 and 51 questions and are given an answer time of 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the number of questions and listening passages. Participants respond to questions by listening to speeches, class discussions, and conversations.
